A 13-year-old boy is fighting for his life following an incident in his school canteen.
Oliver Whitehead, a year 9 pupil at Withernsea High School, was badly hurt in the incident at the school on Friday afternoon.
Paramedics were called and rushed Oliver to Leeds General Infirmary by air ambulance, where his family say doctors had to resuscitate him twice.
He is currently in an induced coma.
His uncle, Matthew Tindale, said: Oliver is in Leeds General in an induced coma – theyre going to try and wake him today.
My sister, Olivers mum, is very distressed and been at the hospital throughout the night. When the incident happened his heart stopped twice.
I want to thank the people who have took the time to wish Oliver all the best.

He said police were dealing with the incident, which is thought to have happened in the canteen area of the secondary school.
Mr Tindale added: He was taken to Leeds General by air ambulance from Withernsea. [Doctors] had to resuscitate him twice and he is in a induced coma in hospital.
