A car bursting into flames inside Blackwall Tunnel is creating more traffic misery for drivers in London.
Photos released by Transport for London show the vehicle on fire around 900 metres inside the tunnel.
It is understood the car overheated, causing the fire.
The tunnel has been closed in both directions, but is expected to be opened soon.
Traffic has been severely delayed in the surrounding areas.
Drivers have been told to avoid the area and find an alternative route.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police told Metro.co.uk that the fire has been dealt with by the London Fire Brigade and nobody has been injured.
