So here we are, fully in the swing of Veganuary.
You’re almost over your cheese cravings and you’re starting to realise that most dark chocolate is vegan. Praise be to the plant-based Gods!
The real problem is thinking up new, exciting and easy dinners.
After all, one can only eat so much chilli and burrito bowl.
Which is why you need to grab your phone and hit ‘Follow’ on these vegan Instagrammers.
From chefs to celebs, they’re the folks to give you some culinary inspiration – whether that’s recipes, restaurant recommendations or accidentally vegan products.
Instagram is honestly your best tool for living a varied and happy vegan life. You’re so far from being alone, even if you don’t actually know anyone else giving cruelty-free life a go.
It’s a platform full of vegan influencers who spend their time flooding their walls with food porn. And here are the best:
Minimalist Baker
Urgh, our favourite recipe blog. Every recipe has 10 ingredients or less, one bowl or takes under 30 minutes to prepare. And they’re mainly gluten-free too. Oh, and the pudding to savoury ratio is excellent.
Vegan Eats Oxford
It doesn’t matter if you don’t live in Oxford, Heather Grace is still worth a follow. She uploads her homemade vegan meals and it’s great for showing the kind of variety you can have eating plant-based every day. They’re the kinds of dishes most of us could cook and would definitely want to eat after a hard day at work – which is majorly refreshing when you see how many overly complicated, edited vegan eats there are online.
Accidentally Vegan UK
A collection of every accidentally vegan product available. We’re talking Tesco battered onion rings. Moet. Caramel Shreddies. Freddo drinking chocolate.
Essential reading if you’re missing eating certain treats!
Yes, It’s All Vegan
Trying every restaurant, food stand and new vegan product so you don’t have to.
Vegan Eats Please

A collection of recipes from various blogs all under one roof. We’re not saying your own efforts will look this good but a girl can dream.

Vegan Body Building
Worried about making dem gainz on a vegan diet or where you’ll get your protein from? Follow Vegan Body Building and you’ll have more #fitspo than you’ll know what to do with.
Fat Gay Vegan
You probably don’t need any introduction to Fat Gay Vegan because he’s everywhere. He’s just released his first book – Fat Gay Vegan: Eat, Drink and Live Like You Give A Shit. He always seems to know about vegan news and food launches before everyone else. I don’t know how, but he does.
VeganBurd
A post shared by Adele (@veganburd) on
Believe it or not, veganism exists north of the Watford Gap and isn’t always green. Vegan Burd, AKA Adele makes the sort of grub you crave on rainy days – waffle sandwiches, fry-ups and deep fried pizzas. But they’re all vegan. Oh,and she’s based in Glasgow.
Lucy Watson
Yes, that Made in Chelsea one.
Lucy seems to singlehandedly converted thousands of people to veganism with her glamorous Instagram and new vegan ventures (she’s got a cookbook and she’s opening a vegan restaurant with her sister).
If you want to learn how to turn your life vegan – including beauty, fashion and everything else, she’s ya gal.

Sweet Simple Vegan
Jasmine Briones is a food stylist and recipe developer so her account is mad for beautiful-looking plates and simple, cheap ideas. In fact, she’s just been doing a load of $5 (£3.70) meals on her YouTube channel – proving that you don’t have to be rich to be ethical.
Socially Vegan London
Eating out used to be the hardest thing about going plant-based. There was nowhere to eat. You ended up having to have a side salad and a plate of chips if you dared to join your pals at any given restaurant.
Not any more friends. London is a HIVE of vegan activity and this account pulls together pictures from the best vegan grub our capital has to offer.
Nom Yourself
Kentucky Fried Cauliflower, anyone?
Mary Mattern’s a chef and all the grub she posts is what she serves up her Heirloom Deli in Orlando. Amazing food porn and incredible ideas. Sure, there are no recipes but for inspiration of what is possible on a vegan diet, look no further.
