Look, coffees topped with selfies are cool, but we’re not going to cover our Instagram with images of ourselves. There are enough selfies on there already.

We need a new Instagrammable beverage. You know, to replace 2017’s turmeric lattes, charcoal lattes, and glitter cappuccinos.

Enter the rose gold latte. It’s got the benefit of actually sounding quite tasty alongside its excellent aesthetics.

Served at S3 Coffee Bar in San Diego, the rose gold latte is made with herbal tee, almond milk, rose syrup, and honey. Then it’s topped with rose petals and edible gold glitter to make it look extra pretty. Lovely.

Sure, the colour does make us think of Pepto-Bismol, but once you get past that it’s quite exciting.

It’s iced, so a rose gold latte won’t be the thing you’re after for snuggling up in the cold, but it’s something to look forward to if you happen to be heading San Diego any time soon.

Plus, who cares if it’s cold? We all know the main reason we’d buy a rose gold latte is to pose it next to a tiny cactus on a table for a sweet pic for the ‘Gram.

If you aren’t thinking pink, though, S3 Coffee Bar has other gram-worthy drinks to try, including a gold cappuccino (it tastes like cookie butter, which sounds incred) topped with flakes of gold and rainbow lattes.

Your cuppa’s looking a bit subpar right now.
