A windmill, a launderette and and a caravan arent the first places youd expect to exercise your democratic right to vote.
But the UK, in all its quirkiness, has turned some strange places into polling stations as people vote in todays European Parliament elections.
Other weird examples include a museum and some pubs, which surely are bound to give voter turnout a boost.
Here are some of the more unusual polling station locations from recent elections.
Just when you thought it couldnt get any more British, some of the polling stations are in pubs – so you really have no excuse not to get out and vote.

Some stations have been set up in tiny temporary units in car parks, at bus stops and on the roadside.
One of them in Sunderland is a cheery bright yellow which no doubt puts a smile on voters faces.
A caravan on a farm has also been used to give rural voters a continent place to decide on the countrys future.
