Bungling workers trap themselves after building fence around van

These builders had one job and they nearly messed it up.

All they had to do was make sure they parked their van outside a front yard when they built a fence around it in Manchester.

But the duo nearly failed miserably when they erected the barrier before the white Isuzu truck had been moved on Friday.

Col Condron, 40, posted pictures online of the awkward situation that happened at a neighbours house.

It seemed bleak at first but the builders eventually managed to get the van through after making some adjustments.

Mr Condron told Manchester Evening News: They parked the van, built the fence, and forgot the van was there.

It took them about half an hour to get it out. They had to take the fence apart again, and then pull the fence posts back in the wet concrete.

They got the van out and put it all back together again.
