European Union chief Jean-Claude Juncker has made it clear the UK will have no more chances to negotiate a Brexit deal after members approved Theresa Mays plan.

He told BBC Radio 4s Today programme this is the only deal possible and that if MPs vote it down in the House of Commons we would have no deal.

The EU commission president said the deal agreed between the EU and the Prime Minister is not a humiliation for Britain, but he added: Everybody is losing.

On Sunday at a summit in Brussels, the remaining 27 EU leaders officially approved Mrs Mays Withdrawal Agreement and Political Declaration, meaning it will now go back to Parliament for a meaningful vote.

It is expected that MPs will vote on the deal before Christmas.

Mr Juncker re-iterated that there will be no more negotiation and insisted it is the best deal for Britain.

This is the only deal possible. So, if the House (of Commons) says no, we would have no deal, he told Today.

Its not the intention of the Prime Minister, the Cabinet, nor of the Parliament, to go for a second referendum. This is the deal.

Asked if the Brexit negotiation was a punishment process for the UK, Mr Juncker said: I dont understand why the British people, and I like the British people for so many including historical reasons, why they are feeling that they are humiliated.

I dont see that because numerous points of view of the British have been taken into this deal. So, this is not a humiliation for Britain.

Asked about his previous comments that the Brexit process felt like a failure, Mr Juncker said: Everybody is losing.

He added: Is it a failure on the British behalf that you are telling people year after year, month after month, day after day, that the membership of Britain in the European Union is a bad thing for the British citizens?

I dont think that the European Union is guilty for the result, its the responsibility of Britain. Only of Britain, of nobody else.
