A man accused of murdering a three-year-old boy at his home has been pictured for the first time.
Kyle Campbell, 26, appeared at Leeds Crown Court this morning charged with the murder of Riley Siswick.
Rileys mum, Kayleigh Siswick, 26, was also in court charged with causing or allowing Rileys death.
The toddler was found unresponsive and never recovered from his injuries, passing away at Campbells home in Smiths Avenue, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, in February 2016.
A prosecutor said Riley died from blunt force trauma.
Campbell and Siswick, both of Heys View in Huddersfield, spoke only to confirm their names, dates of birth and nationalities.
The charges have not been put to the couple as they have not entered their pleas.
Siswick indicated she may enter a not guilty plea at Leeds Magistrates Court yesterday, but they will both formally tell the court on December 20.

A trial date was provisionally listed for May 20 next year and the court heard its expected to last six weeks.
Campbells barrister, Anastasis Tasou, made an application for bail on behalf of his client, but it was rejected by the Recorder of Leeds, Judge Guy Kearl QC.
Campbell was returned to custody, while Siswick was released on conditional bail.
The condition is that she lives and sleeps at a new address, which was not read out in court.

She must also not directly or indirectly contact Campbell or his family.
Campbell was first arrested in connection with the case in April 2017.
Siswick was interviewed five times over a period of the two-and-a-half years in connection with Rileys death.
The court heard the charges came as a shock to the couple.
