This was the moment a suspected car thief had his photo taken by the owner of the vehicle while he was sat in her car.

The man had a shocked expression on his face after being snapped by the woman when he was parked in the Ford Fiesta on Portchester Road, in Bournemouth, on September 2.

The victim, in her 20s, had confronted the man and his accomplice after recognising her car, which had been stolen the night before while it was parked outside her friends house on nearby Lowther Road.
