Theres a lot of gravy here but no roast dinner in sight.

Thats because its the World Gravy Wrestling Championships and not someones lunch.

The contest, which takes place in Burnley, is now in its 11th year and the locals still cant get enough of it.

It may just look like two people grappling in sauce for two minutes but its so much more than that.

Points can be gained for wrestling skills, fancy dress and how funny you can be while writhing around in gravy, which shouldnt be that difficult.

The event isnt a total joke.

Contestants are trying to raise money for several charities, including the East Lancashire Hospice, through getting sponsored,

If you have kids and you want to punish them (or let them have fun depending on how you see it) then they can also be entered into the contest.
