A mystery man is in a critical condition after being found in the River Thames in south-west London.
The tattooed white man is in hospital after being discovered without any ID on Thursday near Putney Embankment.
Officers believe he injured himself entering a part of the river he thought was shallow and today said attempts to identify him have been exhausted.
The man was removed from the water by the RNLI and airlifted to hospital where he remains in a critical but stable condition.
Detective Sergeant Samantha Batchelor said: We have exhausted all our lines of enquiry to identify this man and we are hoping with the release of his image a friend or family member will be able to come forward tell us who he is.

The man was not carrying any identification and police are urgently trying to trace his family due to his poor state of health.
Hes described as a white male, dark in complexion, believed to be in his 30s, of medium build with short dark hair.
He has two distinctive tattoos on his left hand and one on his lower right leg, that are faded black in colour.
He had been wearing a camouflage t-shirt with white writing on it that said Now or never, no regrets, past/present/future.
He was also wearing grey tracksuit bottoms with black rims around the pockets, blue plimsolls with white soles and a white and green Dunlop shoulder bag.
DS Batchelor added: Anyone who can assist in identifying this man should call the South West Commands Missing Persons Unit by calling 101 quoting CAD 6675/26 Jul.
