Stabbed men held for murder after death of rapper Incognito

Two men treated in hospital for stab wounds after the rapper Incognito died in London have been arrested on suspicion of murder.

The 23-year-old musician Siddique Kamara became the second member of the drill music group Moscow17 to have been killed on Warham Street, Camberwell, in three months.

Mr Kamara was found to have died of two stab wounds to the chest in a post mortem on Friday.

Two men, aged 16 and 31, also suffered stab wounds and have now been arrested on suspicion of murder.

The Metropolitan Police has not confirmed if they are being held over the death of Mr Kamara.

The pair were taken to a south London hospital after the rapper died at the scene on Wednesday 1 August.

Two men, aged 19 and 18, have been released under investigation after they were arrested close the scene.

Detectives from the Met's homicide and major crime command are leading the investigation and are appealing for witnesses and information.

Rhyhiem Ainsworth Barton, 17, also a member of Moscow17, was found with a fatal gunshot wound on Warham Street in May.

Moscow17's tracks have received hundreds of thousands of views on YouTube. Some feature references to other groups in the capital, including long-running rivals Zone 2 from Peckham.

Earlier this year Mr Kamara and another member of Moscow17 were cleared at the Old Bailey of murdering teenager Abdirahman Mohamed, a brother of a member of Zone 2.

Detective chief inspector Richard Leonard said: "Another young man has tragically and needlessly lost his life through an act of violence.

"We are keeping an open mind about the possible motive for this attack, but at this early stage one line of enquiry is this being gang-related."
