Did the Queen make a dig at U.S. President Donald Trump with the three brooches she wore during his UK visit last week?

Royal fans have suggested that Queen Elizabeth II carefully picked her bling to make a subtle statement against the controversial president.

American Twitter user Julie shared the theory with her 4,000 followers asking if it was a coincident that the Queen wore a brooch made famous at her fathers funeral on the day she had tea with Trump.

Julie, who tweets under the handle Sammurai Knitter, wrote: For the day of the tea, QE [The Queen] wore an innocuous “nice but not holy shit considering the vaults” diamond brooch she inherited from her mother.

Julie also explained that on the day Trump arrived in the UK, the Queen received the Archbishop of Canterbury and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar for an audience at Windsor Castle wearing a brooch verbally called The American State Visit Brooch.

The brooch was a gift from former U.S. President Barack Obama, and his wife Michelle when they visited the UK in 2011.

However, Julie explained with the help of a royal jewellery expert that the brooch isnt an American brooch, it was a personal gift from the Obamas, picked up from the vintage collection at Tiny Jewel Box jewelry store in Washington D.C.

She wrote: Arrival day was the one that got the most attention. That day, she wore the brooch the Obamas gave her on their last visit to England.

That by itself is amusing enough. She wore a brooch the Obamas gave her. But it gets better. Its not an American brooch, any would be funny. She chose this one. This one was purchased out-of-pocket by Michelle and Barack Obama and given to her as a personal gift.

Julie added: The U.S. has given QE jewelry before over the years and I bet her dressed could put hands on any and all of it given five minutes. But she chose the most sentimental piece in the collection, the one that was given OUT OF FRIENDSHIP WITH THE OBAMAS AS PEOPLE.

Again, coincident?

The third brooch she wore was on the day of the banquet on Saturday, where the Queen wore the Sapphire Jubilee Brooch, a gift from Canada to celebrate her 65th year on the throne.

Julie wrote: Its called the Sapphire Jubilee Brooch, and it was given to the Queen of England as a gift for ruling for eleventh billion (okay 65). From Canada, you know who Trumps been screaming about and insulting.

The commonwealth country and one of the UKs greatest allies. Them.

She added: Nice way to get a dig again without having to say a word.

Julie also mentioned: The suit she wore to tea is the exact same she wore to open Parliament after the post-Brexit reorganization. “I think this is now here Official Outfit of Dont Wanna.
