Two centuries and England's fastest half-century saw the team just short of 500 runs during a spectacular display at Trent Bridge.
England's cricketers have set a one-day record after scoring 481-6 against Australia at Trent Bridge.
The world record came with the help of centuries from Alex Hales (who eventually went out for 147) and opener Jonny Bairstow, who made 139.
Eoin Morgan, England's ODI captain, contributed with a quickfire 67.
Morgan took just 21 balls to reach his half-century, the fastest by any England batsman in terms of balls faced.
England had looked set to become the first team to reach 500 but that dream ended after Hales and Morgan were dismissed in successive deliveries, leaving them at 459 for five wickets off 47.3 overs.

The previous record was set by England against Pakistan two years ago, when they made 444 for three at the same venue.
