Two women who were filmed stealing clothes from a charity bank in Glasgow have left people shocked and disgusted.

The thieves can be seen using a pram to reach the opening before pulling bin bags full of clothes out of the charity bin in Govanhill, on Monday.

The passerby, who caught the pair on camera, said he confronted them for stealing from charity, but only got laughter as a response.

Social media users have slammed the women for their crime with one writing: To steal…from a charity? What on earth? Thats such a terrible thing to see.

One simply said: Stealing from charity is really low, with some adding, disgusting and shocking.

But others defended the act, with one writing: The poor woman is obviously desperate. Maybe try speaking to her find out her situation before you judge.

Another one said: I think if they need it that bad they shouldnt have to steal it, we should be charitable enough to give it to them.
