Two very different protests crossed paths today and it was absolutely glorious.

ICYMI, thousands of Tommy Robinson supporters gathered in London, protesting against the jailing of the English Defence League founder.
The far-right rally turned violent, with protesters hurling missiles and smoke-bombs at police.
But just down the road, something more entertaining was taking place.
Hundreds of cyclists shed their clothes and took part in the World Naked Bike Ride, in an annual protest aimed at celebrating the human body and campaigning against the use of cars.
Though happening at the same time, both protests were at separate ends of the city.
Until this happened.
A naked man on a Boris bike and another on a kids scooter were pictured cycling past a fully clothed Tommy Robinson supporter who was holding a Free Tommy placard.

Christian Calgie, who took the spectacular image, shared the image on Twitter, simply writing: They have merged. I am in hell.

He also shared an image from the movie London Has Fallen and wrote: So I cleared the Tommy Robinson protest and now Ive walked into a naked bicycle ride???
Christian, who took the picture as he was crossing Westminster Bridge, told Metro.co.uk: The idea that these socially conservative protesters had caught up in the naked cycle ride was very amusing.
And Twitter of course had plenty to say about the bizarre scene:
If London staging a naked bike ride on the same day as a Free Robinson demonstration tells us anything, its that we arent being governed by Sharia Law
