The burglar mumbles Im sorry as he lies helpless at the mans feet with an obvious wound to the back of his head.

It has been claimed online that a woman and a young child were inside the property but some viewers have condemned the violence meted out by the sted head – slang for a steroid user.

The clip was posted online with the caption: Sted heads gone wild. Sorry theres only one t*t on show.
The footage begins with a man wearing grey jogging bottoms and baseball cap opening a gate at the back of a property.
The man kicks the wooden gate open, and the burglar, wearing a blue polo shirt, can be seen standing frozen in front of a door.
The man in the baseball cap walks straight up to him and lands a violent punch to the mans head, causing him to instantly drop to the ground.
Within seconds, the attacker violently kicks the man on the ground in the head and then in the chest before saying: Fuck off. Get up and fuck off, c***.
The man in the cap then grabs the suspected thief on the ground by his top and drags him along the concrete floor, tripping over him as he tries to pull him out of the gate.

A sickening thud can be heard as the man on the grounds head slams into the wooden gate, while the man in the cap grabs the burglar by the top of his trousers.
He picks him up and throws him head first out of the property, and the man in the cap can be heard saying: Get out, Im fucking telling ya. Get the fuck off away from me now.
The man can then be seen stretched out on the ground with his top pulled up and his trousers slightly pulled down.
The man on the ground appears to have an open wound on the top of his head while he lies there and can be heard saying: Im sorry.
The clip ends with the man trying to get up, before it flicks to a shot of a messenger app.

The clip divided social media users, with many suggesting the attacker was stopping a break-in.
Kirstie Wilkes wrote: Apparently the guy who took the beating was trying to break in to that house, where there was a young mum with a 10-month-old baby. Not sure how much is true like.
Paddy Mason said: To be fair Id do the same if Id seen him trying to rob a single mum.
Graeme Home added: If he was trying to rob the house he deserved everything he got.
However, others hit out at the man filmed in the clip.
Bill Shaun Neale wrote: Hard as fuck kicking a man when hes down.

Kane Brock commented: The first punch, fair enough you dropped him.. But the rest was uncalled for.
Jaimie Draper, referring to steroids, added: Seriously bad case of ROID RAGE there.
Keith Clayton Moore added: Doesnt matter if he was trying to break into a house or not. After the first punch the guy was down and no longer a threat. To keep hitting and kicking him after that just makes you a coward.
While Alice May said simply: Attempted murder that.
