A mother immediately called 999 when she found out her 18-year-old son was throwing a party at their home while she was on holiday.

Alison Robinson, 49, told police to keep her son Oliver ‘locked up’ so he could learn to grow up.

Oliver’s mother and father, David Robinson, 53, were away for the weekend in the Lake District when he wrecked their home in Poulton, Lancashire, The Sun reports.

They returned home to find a smashed window, broken furniture and a house covered in sick and urine.

Oliver had arranged for a small gathering at first, but when word of the free house got out, it quickly turned into a huge party.

His parents put an end to their holiday as soon as a neighbour phoned them up to tell them what was going on.

Alison said it was ‘every parent’s nightmare’ when she came back to a scene of devastation.

She said: ‘I rang the police straight away. I know that not every mother would do what I did, but he needs to grow up.

‘I even told them to keep him in the cell overnight.’

Relations in the Robinson family have deteriorated to the point where Oliver lost his job at his dad’s building company.

And his father reportedly said he won’t speak to him ever again.

Oliver was arrested after his mother phoned the police, and he later admitted smashing a window to gain entry at Blackpool Magistrates Court.

Brett Chappell, defending, said Oliver, who had no previous convictions, was pressured by his friends into holding a house party, the Blackpool Gazette reports.

‘A large number of young people turned up en masse, drank copious amounts of alcohol and items in the house were damaged,’ Mr Chappell said.

‘His father has in effect disowned him and won’t speak to him.’
