A house which has plaster cherubs and a zebra print ‘man cave’ inside is still on the market nearly six months after it was first listed.
Retired builder Stephen Jennings has splurged a staggering £250,000 on renovating this normal three-bedroom terraced house into a zebra print playground.
Along with the animal print the house, in Newton Heath, Manchester, features plaster cherubs, chandeliers, granite-effect ceilings and a spa-style bathroom.
But despite having had a huge reaction from the media, the house – which has a four poster bed, mood lighting and a front door big enough to fit his coffin through – on Droylsden Road is still listed for sale at £180,000.
A lot of the features have been made by hand, including the ceilings, a breakfast table made from a church pew, while Stephen, 65, extended the building so he could build his own ‘man cave’ to watch the football.

This extra room has a similar black and white theme to the kitchen, and has a TV fitted into the walls, a metal ringed radiator and blinds to block out any sunlight.
According to the Manchester Evening News, the fire place in the living room has been replaced by another flat screen TV with plaster cherubs and mood lighting also in the room.
The bedroom has fitted wardrobes and plush carpets while the bathroom has a jacuzzi-style bath, zebra print chairs and another TV.
And the ceilings on the first floor have been lowered, while for £10,000 more Stephen will convert the loft room to whatever the buyer wants.
He told the MEN: ‘My favourite room has to be the man cave, I spend all of my time there.’
Stephen, a dad-of-two, says the property is too big for him now and wants to downsize.
He added: ‘It is an ideal starter family home, you have got a back bedroom, a main bedroom, and the third floor could become a kiddies bedroom up the stairs.
‘I want to move to Tenerife and do this all again. I am a workaholic, all I wanted to do was learn a trade and go out to work. I don’t want to go on nights out or chase girls.’
