Man shot dead in north London and three arrested on suspicion of murder

A man has died after a shooting in north London.

The Metropolitan Police said officers were called to reports of a man suffering a gunshot wound on St Josephs Road in Enfield at about 9.15pm on Tuesday.

The victim, whose age is not yet known, was pronounced dead at the scene at 10.10pm.

Three males were arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder, police said.

There were no reports of any other injuries.

Cordons remain in place and officers are expected to be at the scene for some time, the force added.
