An UberEats driver has been caught on camera helping himself to a meal while waiting for a customer outside their door.
The cheeky driver pulled up to the property at 6.20pm in Melbourne last Monday and rang the door bell.
While he waited for the unsuspecting customer to come to the door, he was caught peeking inside the bag and removing a chip.
The video was taken by a friend of Hot Breakfast radio host Eddie McGuire, who told listeners he often suspects delivery drivers must tuck into his food as his meals are always left a little light.
McGuire said during his program: This has been a bit of a common occurrence at my place where sometimes the Uber [Eats] comes in and you go its a bit light.
Anyway, so a good friend of mine had the home security system going and he said you need to come and have a look at this one, old pal.

The footage shows the man brazenly chomping on the chip as he waited in front of the door.
Fortunately for him, he manages to consume his mouthful just moments before the customer opens the door.

But little did he know, his entire chip crime was caught in clear view of the security camera.
However, McGuires co-host Wil Anderson defended the delivery man, saying the poor guy probably wasnt paid very well and if you cant get a tip, youve gotta get a chip.
Others responded to the video online, calling for the employee to be sacked while others said it served customers right for being lazy.
A spokesperson for UberEats said: We know how important food safety is, and we ask delivery partners to take great care during the delivery process to ensure the quality of meals they deliver for restaurants reflect the restaurants standards.
Delivery partners using UberEats are expected to comply with the Uber Eats community guidelines which explain they can lose access to the app for tampering with orders.
We encourage users of the app to contact us with any concerns or issues they may be having and we will work to resolve these with them.
