A man who spent four days on the run after allegedly killing his ex-girlfriend and her mother has been charged with their murders.
Janbaz Tarin, 21, was arrested last night on a street in the Sparkhill area of Birmingham, less than a mile away from his parents home, which police searched earlier this week.
He will appear before magistrates on Saturday charged with the murders of Raneem Oudeh, 22, and her mother Khaola Saleem, 49.
The women were stabbed to death shortly after 12.30am on Monday in Solihull, West Midlands.
Ms Oudeh, who has a two-year-old son, was on the phone to police when she was attacked.
Officers arrived six minutes later to find both victims covered in blood outside Mrs Saleems house. They died at the scene.
Neighbours said they woke to screams coming from outside the house shortly after midnight.

One woman living nearby said: I thought it was foxes screaming. She (one of the victims) was absolutely screaming her head off. He wasnt speaking English, thats for sure.
He shouted something and then ran off. There was a lot of screaming and shouting and then I saw the guy run off. About a minute later I saw him leave in a van.
The neighbour, who said she was stunned by what had happened, added she did not know the victims, but they kept themselves to themselves.
Another neighbour said he was woken at around 12.30am by screaming but assumed it was people coming home from a night out.
The father-of-two, who also declined to give his name, said: Then police knocked on my door and asked for some towels, so I knew at that point it was serious.
Ive got a young family so I was worried about what was going on.
Tarin, a shopkeeper originally from Afghanistan, has been remanded in custody until tomorrow morning.
