A headteachers car was doused in acid in what she has described as a targeted attack.
Kate Mills, 47, from Chelmsford, Essex, has said she felt sick and violated when she saw that vandals had squirted her car with acid.
The headteacher of John Ray Infants School in Braintree found the family Toyota Auris covered in an unknown substance which melted away the paintwork.
The car was parked on a driveway in St Johns Road, Old Moulsham, when it was damaged.
We came down and we saw what looked like something on the roof, Kate said.

I thought it was bird poo.
The drivers side was covered as something had been squirted on it.

The paintwork has bubbled up and its also all over the driveway.
According to Kate, there is no CCTV in the area and chances of catching those responsible are minimal.
What makes it worse is the fact that no other car on the road was damaged.

Kate added: The other cars were not touched. I felt sick particularly as it must be targeted.
I feel violated. I do not really know what it is but it has taken the paintwork off and melted the plastic.
The car will need to be re-sprayed with paint and Kate will speak with her insurers in the next few days.
