A man was taken to hospital with a badly severed ear after an attempted carjacking.
Greater Manchester Police said the man was dragged out of his vehicle and attacked in a car park in Oldham.

Officers were called to Derker Metrolink Stop in Cromford Street at 7.30pm on Thursday March 22.
They found the badly injured man, who was taken to hospital where he was found to have a fractured skull as well as the badly damaged ear.
He is now recovering at home and is in a stable condition, police said.
A 15-year-old boy from Oldham has been charged with robbery and possession of an offensive weapon.
He has been bailed to appear at Tameside Youth Court on Tuesday 1 May 2018.

The boy cannot be named for legal reasons due to his age.
A 16-year-old boy was also arrested on suspicion of robbery and possession of an offensive weapon. He remains on bail pending further enquiries until 14 May 2018.
