The U.K. medicines regulator has ordered the recall of hundreds of thousands of coronavirus testing kits over safety concerns.
The recall could affect up to 741,000 unused kits made by medical technology company Randox Laboratories for the U.K. national test and trace program, Reuters reported.
“This decision has been taken as a precautionary measure to prevent any further use of Randox tests,” the Department of Health said in a statement.
