A married council worker sexually assaulted a woman after pretending to be a British Airways pilot based out of Heathrow.

Peter Ferguson, 47, came up with an elaborate ruse that involved him impersonating a pilot named Matt Parker and then led to him posing as a masseur.

He had exchanged messages and phone calls with a woman he met on Bumble last September and during one conversation he offered to arrange a massage.

She then received a text message from an unknown mobile number, which purported to be from a masseur called Steve.

On the day of the appointment, he arrived at her home in the Highwoods area of Colchester and claimed to be a masseur with 20 years experience.
