McDonalds is our go-to for a cheap meal on the go, but it turns out you can actually get it much cheaper.
Yep, apparently theres a way to get a McDonalds meal half price with minimal effort.
Well, as long as your favourite thing on the menu is a Big Mac and fries.
Instead of the usual £4, youll be paying £1.99, and all you have to do is buy something and remember to keep the receipt.
This could be a receipt for anything – even just a kids size coke.
Then, you just need to head to the McDonalds food for thoughts website, enter the 12 digit code on the receipt, and fill out a short survey about your visit.
Youll then be given a five digit code which you can take into McDonalds and use to get half price off your food.

According to The Tab, who drew our attention to the hack, if youre a vegetarian or just dont fancy a Big Mac, you can trade it in for a Veggie Deluxe or a Filet-O-Fish instead.

While theres no limit to the deal, youll only be able to get a half price meal once a day – as its one code per day per person.
Of course, if you want to be super sneaky, you could always ask a couple of friends who dont like McDonalds to buy something else for you – that way you could get a half priced McDonalds for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
