A mum has told how she diced with death after she was trampled by a cow as she walked her dogs in the countryside.
Corrine Mathias, 52, noticed a cow had gone into labour as she walked her dog.
The nurse got nearer the cattle shed as she thought the calf was in trouble, but another cow butted, barged and kicked her near Llandrindod Wells, mid Wales.
Corrine said: It barged me to the floor and then kept on butting me in the face with its head.
I was so shocked and frightened that I cant really remember much after that.
I collapsed on a grassy bank in a muddy heap with blood dripping from my nose.
I still had my mobile in my pocket, so I managed to call my husband Robert.
The mum broke her eye socket and cheekbone, suffered severe bruising and leg wounds in the accident at the end of last year.

She was off work for six weeks and has recently finished her treatment.
Corrine added: I kept having flashbacks and my whole body came out in bruising, making it very painful and uncomfortable to move around or sleep.
It comes days after it emerged a farmer who was found dead in a field near Tunbridge Wells, Kent, may have been trampled to death by his cattle.
The Wales Farm Safety Partnership (WFSP) has now warned people of the dangers of animals.
Brian Rees, who chairs the WFSP, said: Statistics show that many accidents involve working with unrestrained animals.
Some of these are minor but some are life-changing or even fatal.
