BBQs at the ready: Iceland is now selling a six pack of pigs in blankets on sticks.

Yep, your favourite Christmas dinner side is now available in BBQ form. We officially cant wait for the sun to come back out to we can spend the day demolishing those meaty treats in the garden.

The 300g packet of pigs on sticks cost £2.50 and feature pork sausages wrapped in smoked streaky bacon on wooden skewers.

In case you dont have an Iceland close to you, these things are pretty easy to make on their own.

All you need is some little sausages – wrap them in smoked bacon and put them on a skewer.

Alternatively, you could just buy some pigs in blankets readily prepared.

Given that Tesco sells 12 pigs in blankets for £2, and you can buy wooden skewers for as little as 50p, youre actually getting more for your money creating them yourself.

Just in case youre planning a BBQ this weekend, you should also know that Aldi also has a load of cheap dishes on offer, including its sell-out giant Tomahawk steak which has recently made a return to supermarket shelves.

Weighing in at an average of 1.3kg, the 14-day matured British ribeye steak costs just £12.99, making it up to 52% cheaper than the Waitrose equivalent.

The steak is made with 100% British beef and according to Aldi, is best served pan seared and rested for 15 minutes, served with a potato and avocado salad.

Alongside the Tomahawk, the super cheap supermarket has also released a Big Daddy steak and supersized sausages.
