Shocking footage shows the moment a group of men launched a hammer attack on a driver.
The incident took place on Alum Rock Road, in Birmingham, at around 8.30pm on Thursday.

A man wearing a purple jumper was seen jumping inside the back where a female passenger was sitting, while another man appeared to hit the driver with a hammer.
The video also showed several other men surrounding the silver Hyundai, while someone in the group shouting jump out, jump out.
The frightened victim eventually managed to reverse his car and then made his escape down the road.

Police have launched an appeal for information after arriving at the scene and finding no-one there.

There were also no reported injuries.
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: Officers were called to Alum Rock Road, Alum Rock, at around 8.30pm on June 7 to reports of a man being attacked in a vehicle.
Police were on the scene quickly but there was no sign of disorder, and no victim was identified.
Anyone with information has been asked to call 101, quoting log 2657 of 7 May.
