Whatever Meghan Markle wears has an impact, with fans clamouring to copy her style.

But Meghans sartorial accessory choice during her recent trip to Northern Ireland carries a special message.

Prince Harrys bride-to-be stepped out on Friday at the Eikon Centre in Belfast looking every inch a duchess in making in a smart skirt and trench coat combo.

But what stood out was the handbag adorning the Suits actress wrist and what her choice of arm candy means in her new role as a royal.

Designed by Brit, Charlotte Elizabeth, this small leather tote bag is called Bloomsbury, and comes in at just £175.

The girl behind the leather brand, Charlotte Elizabeth herself, started the company when she was just 21 years old, with no training or experience in the industry.

At the age of 19, Charlotte attended a course through the Princes Trust in order to learn about how to set up a business.

But two weeks later, she suddenly collapsed and lost all muscle ability within seconds.

Despite being paralysed she launched her accessories brand – with her own designs – from her bed.

I thought if I can create something through all of this I can do anything, she explained.

And Meghan choosing it over the hundreds of other designer bags on offer has helped Charlottes brand grow.

It was wonderful to see Ms. Markle wearing Charlotte Elizabeth Chestnut Bloomsbury today, she said.

Charlotte was helped by Prince Charles charity The Princes Trust, so by choosing to wear this up and coming designers bag, Meghan is supporting her future father-in-law in his work and carrying on his legacy and commitment to helping future generations of disadvantaged youth.
