It might be spring, but we’re certainly not in iced latte territory just yet.

Costa could clearly sense that we’re still in the mood for something hot and sweet, and their spring menu reflects that.

An old favourite for Costa lovers – the white hot chocolate – is back.

It used to be on the Christmas menu but has been glaringly absent for the past two years, before finally making its return.

As well as that, customers can expect a range of three new variations of the flat white.

There’s the flat black, which uses a shorter and purer shot of coffee; the flat mocha for chocolate lovers; and the coconut flat white for those looking for a dairy-free alternative.

For when the weather finally heats up a bit, there’s Mango & Passion Fruit, Red Summer Berries or Pineapple and Coconut fruit coolers.

On the food front, Costa have introduced the Easter choco crunch, which on the surface looks like a doughnut. Underneath, however, you’ll find a rice-krispie style treat.

There’s also a triple-layer lemon cake which the coffee chain say has ‘generous lashings of lemon frosting and candied lemon peel.’

Savoury lovers won’t be left out, either, as there’s a new sausage roll being rolled out (pun very much intended).

Costa are going one better than simply releasing their new menu, they’re also – according to Cosmopolitan – giving a free Lindt bunny away with every purchase of hot chocolate for cocoa overload.

The menu is available now.
