Fathers Day if often a more low-key affair than Mothers Day, but its just as important to make a fuss of any father figures in your life.

If youre looked after by your mum or grandma instead, its also a nice idea to get them a card or pressie to say thanks.

In the UK, Fathers Day in 2018 will be on Sunday 17 June.

It always falls on the third Sunday of June, which is a good way to never forget the big day again.

Apparently Fathers Day began after an orphan called Grace Golden Clayton from West Virginia campaigned for the day.

After a mining disaster killed over 360 men, leaving over 1,000 children without dads, she lobbied ministers to mark a day for lost fathers.
