ISIS fighter 'sent teen who plotted terror attack pictures of Kalashnikov'

An ISIS fighter sent a teenager accused of plotting a terror attack pictures of a Kalashnikov rifle he dubbed our klash, a court heard.

Naweed Hussain is alleged to have also sent Safaa Boular pictures of grenades and a handgun, before bragging the rifle was one of a kind.

Boular has been accused of plotting a terror attack on the British Museum in London with her sister Rizlaine.

She is said to have planned the grenade and gun attack after her online boyfriend Hussain was killed in Syria.

The court heard how Boular and Hussain met on Instagram and bonded over Deal or No Deal.

Boular was 17 when she and Rizlaine, 21, planned an attack in London during coded conversations apparently about an Alice In Wonderland-themed Mad Hatters tea party.

Prosecutor Duncan Atkinson QC said Boular, of Vauxhall in London, wanted to marry Hussain, from Coventry.

But defence lawyer Joel Bennathan QC pointed out that he was twice her age and said he groomed her.

On August 18 2016, they discussed British game shows, with Hussain describing Deal Or No Deal as a sik game.

Hussain replied yeah and allegedly called the American politician a filthy kalb – Arabic for dog.

Boular was arrested on suspicion of planning a trip to Syria in August 2016.

In an interview with police, she said she knew Hussain as Rav and understood he was in Raqqa.

She said her interest was sparked by the terror attacks in Paris, which made her curious to find out why people do the things they do.

She said Hussain had raised £3,000 to help her and Rizlaine travel to Syria – adding that as everyone dies at some point, she might as well die with honour.

Rizlaine Boular, of Clerkenwell in London, has already admitted planning a knife attack on London and mother Mina Dich, 43, has pleaded guilty to assisting her.
